INSURANCE CONDITIONS
APPLICABLE FOR 2010
NON PROFESSIONAL CHORAL GROUPS AND ORCHESTRAS, MEMBERS OF CORI & BANDE

The following
Insurance Scheme is applicable to any European non-professional music
group and club: choral, orchestra, band, but even to theatre groups.
The scheme is applicable to Cori & Bande Consortium members only.
Eligible clubs may apply for it.
If your choral group is member of an Italian Regional choral association
linked to Feniarco you are entitled to a
Special
discount.

COLLECTIVE POLICYHOLDER: Consorzio Cori & Bande Via Nibby, 11 - 00161 Roma (on behalf of the associated member groups).
COVER VALID AS FROM: day following date of application shipping (postal stamp) (see Application below)
EXPIRY: midnight of next 28th February (no automatic renewal, no need of cancellation notice)
PREMIUM DUE: € 4.50 per person/p.year (min. € 100), reduced to € 3.50 with no minimum for choral groups linked to Feniarco (through Regional Choral associations.)
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE POLICY no. 301004068 :
INSURED PERSONS:
All physical individual members of the
artistic (choral, orchestras, bands, theatre, etc.) non-professional groups
that have subscribed this Scheme by joining the Consorzio Cori & Bande.
LIMIT OF AGE:The
Personal Accident insurance will cease automatically at the 80th birthday,
unless special agreement has been negotiated on individual basis.
INSURED PERILS: Death, physical damage and medical expenses arising from Personal Accident (external unintentional events) during the association or group activity, including practicing, concerts, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, public events, including tours abroad and individual trips from home to the association meeting point and returns. The Group activity is to include side activities, cultural events, tourist visits, non-competitive sports, provided the insured Group performes such activities officially.
SUMS INSURED: Death following personal accident € 60,000
Permanent Invalidity following P.A. € 100,000
Medical expenses (any one event) € 4,500
Overall per event limit (per aircraft or in case of multiple accident) € 5,200,000
DEDUCTIBLES : Permanent Invalidity following P.A.: 3% (but 5% over 75 years of age); € 50 for Medical Expenses
TERRITORIAL LIMITS: Worldwide
THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY no. 301004069
INSURED: All associations and groups that have joined the Consorzio Cori & Bande and their administrators and individual members.
RISKS INSURED: The liability to third parties of the insured associations, groups and individuals, for damages to third parties during their club activities
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: € 4,000,000 per event.
SPECIAL INCLUSIONS: This insurance is to cover also the following events, which are normally excluded from similar policies:
a) Fire and other damages to the premises (club premises, practice rooms, theatres, concert halls etc).
b) Fire and other damages (excluding theft) of musical instruments belonging to third parties for which the Insured associations and persons are resposible.
c) Legal Expenses (defence and court costs from third party accusations) up to € 1,000,000
d) club other members are considered third parties for the purpose of this insurance (crossed liability).
DEDUCTIBLES: None
TERRITORIAL EXTENSIONS: Worldwide excluding USA and Canada (extension upon specific request).
HOW TO JOIN CONSORZIO CORI & BANDE AND TO GET INSURANCE COVER
- Annual
quotation for non-professional clubs is € 4.50 per person (plus € 1 each time
you send a payment, but € 3 for payment from non Italian countriers).

- Quotation includes also the cost of the membership individual cards which may be obtained following the appropriate procedure as indicated in this website.
